Music creation platform Splice has introduced its first artist in residence program with producer Kenny Beats.
Beats is thought for his work with Rico Nasty, Dominic Fike, FKA Twigs, Denzel Curry, Freddie Gibbs, Zack Fox and Vince Staples.
In February 2021, Splice, which claims for use by over 4 million folks, closed a $55 million spherical of Series D funding, led by Goldman Sachs’ GS Growth.
The spherical took Splice’s complete funding to over $155m, together with a $57.5m Series C funding spherical in March 2019.
On the Splice platform, Beats will share manufacturing suggestions and strategies, contact on engineering and vocal manufacturing, and supply recommendation for aspiring producers on networking and branding.
Later this yr, Splice and Beats may even collaborate on an unique merch drop and Discord activation. Dates are but to be introduced.
Beats’ six-part Skills collection will drop weekly beginning October 13.
